A Knowledge, Attitude and Practice Study on Health Care of the Beauty-Culture School Students

Abstract

The beauty-shop is a place in which a lot of women meet together and exchange the informations and opinions.
The correct knowledge, attitude and behavior of the beauty-culturist on the health care are very important.
Because she can influence her clients very much in the aspect of health care.
The study was attempt to find the state of knowledge, attitude and behavior of the beuty-culturist on health care.
The total number of 160 students was interviewed (86 beauty-culture school students and 74 liberal arts college students).
The results showed that beauty-culture school students who took public health course revealed higher knowledge level, positive attitude on Health.
But the health behavior is not agreed with the knowledge level and positive attitude. From this viewpoint the more effort must be made.
